EMMA RICHARDSON

Clinical Dental Technician

GDC Number 204130

UCLAN 2023 : Dip CDT RCSEd, MMU : BSc (HONS) Dental technology

I qualified as a Dental Technician in 2010 from Manchester Metropolitan University and have since worked in dental laboratories across the country, steadily building expertise before going on to own a dental laboratory in Yorkshire. In 2023, I qualified as a Clinical Dental Technician (CDT), a registered dental professional trained to work directly with patients requiring dentures — seeing each case through from start to finish, with both the chairside and laboratory work carried out personally.
I love working closely with patients to fully understand what they need, taking the time to get to know them and build a rapport that makes the whole process feel comfortable and personal. Patient satisfaction always comes first, and there's nothing more rewarding than seeing a patient leave with a smile they're truly happy with.

Outside the lab, I am a keen outdoors enthusiast who loves nothing more than a campfire under an open sky. Staying active and healthy is a priority — not least to keep up with the kids! — and on downtime a good kindle book is never far away.
